Hotel Operations Assessment
A structured on-site look at operational strengths, gaps, and what to address next.
Your hotel doesn't stop. Neither do the challenges of running it. Villanueva Hospitality Group helps owners and management teams understand what's happening across the property, identify priorities, and turn operating experience into practical next steps.
Built in South Texas · Focused on independent, limited-service, and select-service hotels
Between guest service, staffing, room readiness, property condition, rate decisions, and ownership expectations, even capable hotel teams can struggle to find time to examine what needs improvement.
VHG was founded from firsthand hotel-management experience. We work alongside owners and managers—not in place of them—to evaluate challenges, provide an outside operating perspective, and help put priorities into a workable plan.
Better hotel performance starts with seeing the property clearly.
VHG works across five connected areas. An engagement may focus on one problem or combine relevant services around the property's needs.

Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, demand, rate position, and room-revenue decisions.
Leadership priorities, department communication, management routines, and follow-through.
Targeted operating reviews for front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, guest experience and more.
Improve workflows and visibility using practical technology alongside existing systems.

When you need to look beyond one issue, we come to the property. A VHG assessment connects what we can observe firsthand with management conversations and selected operating information, then turns those findings into a realistic improvement roadmap.
Our goal is to help ownership and management understand the property's strengths, recurring problems, and opportunities—and determine what deserves attention first.

More time on property for broader representative review across agreed departments, operational patterns, and leadership practices.
One or two days on-site does not constitute a comprehensive inspection of every room, shift, or system. The property's management team remains responsible for implementing recommendations; future follow-up or implementation assistance is separately scoped.
An assessment can address the departments and practices most relevant to your property. We focus on operational conditions, room-revenue strategy, leadership, guest experience, and accountable follow-through.
Share your property's goals, pressing concerns, and the support you're looking for.
We define the review, information needed, deliverables, timing, and fee.
We examine the agreed areas remotely or through a scheduled property visit.
Receive practical findings and recommendations matched to the engagement.
Review the findings together. Any additional help is a new agreed scope.
VHG offers consulting independently from its software. For hotels that want a more organized daily operating picture, On Property by VHG helps owners and General Managers track priorities, issues, and management follow-through alongside their existing PMS.
An On Property subscription does not include VHG consulting. A consulting engagement does not require a software subscription.
